Consistently running at maximum capacity, BARC relies heavily on outside donations to stretch its budget, improve facilities, animal comfort, care and special public awareness programs.

The Houston BARC Foundation (HBF) was established as a private, non-profit, fundraising organization. HBF is dedicated to fundraising in the private sector for the benefit of BARC and the animals in its care. Through its fundraising work and by raising awareness about homeless animals in Houston, HBF endeavors to improve the quality of life for all animals in our community, including those at BARC.
