HBF is a private, non-profit, 501(c) 3 organization
dedicated to raising funds from the private sector
to provide much needed medical and kennel supplies, equipment and better living conditions to the animals at the BARC municipal shelter located at 32 Carr St., Houston, TX. We are also dedicated to improving the lives of all animals throughout our community by raising awareness for responsible pet ownership, spay/neuter practices, pet adoption and the humane treatment of all animals.

Foundation has approved $60,000.00 + in grants
to the City of Houston BARC Facility for the
direct benefit of BARC animals.

use our best efforts to retrieve distress reports as soon as possible and transmit the reports to the proper City BARC personnel. However, in cases of emergency the Foundation recommends that you submit your report directly and quickly to the City of Houston BARC team.
